Mark Agee

Current Position:

Mark is an Operations Manager. He is in charge of making sure our organization is running smoothly and efficiently. Some of his responsibilities include planning, strategy decisions, operation procedures and policy and efficiency improvements. He is also in charge of overseeing budgeting, reporting, legal and regulatory compliance and managing quality assurance programs.

My Industry Background:

I’ve worked with Whitacre for over 25 years. I’m involved in six committees at the Concrete Reinforcing Steel Institute (CRSI): Building Information Modeling, Reinforcement Achorages and Splices, Reinforcing Bar Detailing, Manual of Standard Practice, Reinforcing Bar Fabrication, and Placing Reinforcing Bars.

What I Love About My Job:

I love when a group of individuals unite as a team to finish a project. I also love seeing a newbie detailer become more experienced.

For 25 years, I was a firefighter. I was both a Captain and an Assistant Chief.
